I am with a Sole Agent!
You can sell or let your home privately and NOT pay the agents commission. As Houseladder is not an Estate Agent, but an advertiser, there is no conflict with sole or multiple agency agreement. Its the same as placing an advert in your local paper. Read what The Office of Fair Trading says.

Can I use an Estate Agent at the Same Time?
Yes, we highly recommend this approach. This maximises your exposure ensuring you achieve the best price. Your property will be advertised in your local property paper and in the estate agents window. We recommend choosing an agent who advertises on www.Rightmove.co.uk www.FindaProperty.co.uk or www.Primelocation.com. We are unable to advertise on these sites as they only accept properties from Estate Agents.

You do not charge commission, why?
Correct, we charge just for the Private house sales let Internet advert. With private house sales and property lets no commission is ever payable to us. If we charged commission, we would be an Estate Agent. Our mission is to give the public a Real Alternative when it comes to privately selling or letting their homes.

Does it work?

How do I value my property?

Do I legally need an Estate Agent or Letting Agent?
No, all Estate Agents do is introduce buyers to sellers, and tenants to landlords. They have no legal function.

Do you have a list of buyers or tenants?
Yes, from £69.99 your property details will be automatically emailed to buyers or tenants registered on our partner sites.

How many photos can I display?
Up to 12 photos can be displayed. Your photos must be in the JPEG, GIFF or BMP format and can be up to 2mb in size (Remember the larger they are the longer they will take to load, once loaded we reduce their size automatically to ensure you advert can be displayed fast).

Do you keep my personal information private?
Yes. We respect your privacy and never sell your personal information unlike other websites. We only display the telephone numbers you choose. Your email address is hidden. Read our privacy policy for more information.

Do you have a paper application I can post?
Yes. Print off our post application form, fill it in, enclose your photos and payment and post to us.

How do I pay?
You can either pay online via credit or debit card 24 hours a day.

Can I change my advert after it is published?
Yes, at any time 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Changes are live on Houseladder immediately and loaded automatically to our partner sites with 24/48 hours. Simply login to your account.
