DIY HIPS


It is possible for a seller to compile their own Home Information pack and create a DIY HIP. However, in most cases this can work out more expensive than simply buying a HIP from a HIP Provider

The reason HIP Providers can supply a completed HIP cheaper than a DIY HIP is due to their buying power. HIP Providers will have negotiated substantial discounts for the documents in the HIP based on the number of HIPS they sell.

If you do want to produce your own DIY HIP then it must consist of the mandatory HIP list of documents
